This recipe is inspired from the traditional Gujarati recipe for fresh turmeric pickle.
In my years spent living in western India specifically in the state of Gujarat, I ate this often.
I would recommend wearing gloves when dealing with raw turmeric!
I am a huge believer in the power of probiotics and that includes pickles. I always try to include a little bit with my meals. There is a lot of information about the good it does us on the internet so I won't get into it here. This can be used to cook with and to have as a side.
